Shades of Gray ...

Continuing with this Week's Theme Flexible Work Style
Combining different shades of one particular color can make a statement.
I like the idea of staying within one color code but broadening the spectrum of that color .

fun being a WallFlower

Some things are more fun as a wallflower…

I had a great time catching up with a few friends from college this past weekend. With our busy lives and different worlds, it’s been a little more than 3 years since we last saw each other.   With a massive group text and the universe working on our sides, our schedules aligned, allowing us to meet up for dinner and laughs!

We sat there for hours reminiscing about our crazy days in college, the senseless things we did in our naive youth, and the upcoming things of our lives. It was beautiful to see everyone conversing and cheerful. This was a great idea!

Contributing here and there, I felt a bit like my purse. My presence was like a  beautiful mosaic.  I spent most of the night content with being the Wallflower in this group. I was happy to see that everyone was doing well... and that regardless of the years that pasted, we still valued our friendships.

I Shop a La'mode from Head2Toe

What a  Fun a purchase...

At an Shop a La'mode mocktail party, I added this lovely dress to my collection. Not only was I excited  about my new purchases, but I enjoy the experience of hosting a Pop UP Shop.

At the Pop Up Shop, there was great guest, appetizers, lite cocktails and fashionably fun games.
The convenience of having a small boutique come to your home, JUST for You and a few of your closest friends, was priceless.  We were presented with beautiful, contemporary, and fashionable clothes, shoes and accessories.
All one of a kind and ALL affordable !

I cant wait for the next one!

Steppin' Out in a Mi Clarks

Steppin' out in a mi Clarks ...

I was looking for the perfect casual shoe to wear ... I found them.

I got these while in downtown Cork, Ireland  April 2012. The first time I tired them on, they were  a must have!
The material is plush, comfortable, a great fit AND sale 50% of 65 euros ....

Like the vivacious Reggae song "Clarks" lyrics by VYBZ KARTEL,  it felt good to "steppin' out in a mi clarks"

I've found Clark shoes to be one of the more comfortable of the shoes I've worn.Depending on the style,  you will end up with a comfy pair of shoes that you can be easily transition into your wardrobe.
These were the perfect pair for me !

I rocked a royal blue mock-neck sheer blue dress with tan & white Hogan Rebels that i had purchased while in Roma. I save them for a special occasion, and this was it !

Spring for the right Summer accessories

Spring for the right Summer accessories
*Shoes, Shades and Hats*
IT'S a Must to find that pair of shoes that everyone does a double-take whenever you walk by. It should entice people to ask, “hey, where is she going?!”
That's when you can chuckle to yourself, because like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, these shoes are special. Every walkway is your yellow brick road
So take the time to pick a signature shoe that speaks volume. The more eccentric, the more whimsical of a day you'll experience...

How Nuuuude ....

This season you must have a pair of Nude Pumps!
They are the most flattering pair of shoes you will ever purchase. Just like your black pumps, the right pair of Nude heels will be your go-to-pair for the season. Think of them as your new neutral.
If you pick the right shoes, you’ve met your life partner. Okay maybe not that, but any Shoeaholic knows what I mean…
Why be Nude?
  • They are flattering to a woman’s legs. Neutral heels gives the illusion of longer limps, & you can’t go wrong with that!
  • They are complimentary to all the colors in the spectrum and all textures of style. A Nude pair of heels can be worn with denim, dress, skirts, skinny jeans, trousers, and cigarette pants; and dare I say it, white!
  • This is well worth the purchase & will pay for itself. For this season, and i say for time to come, it will be in steady rotation from your closet. It'll always be a classic!
Barely there?
  • It’s important to try different shades of neutral to suit your legs. Olive complexions can rock basic beige or tan, and if you have darker skin tone try going for a camel, tan or chocolate shade of nude.
  • Though this is a neutral color, Nude Pumps make a huge statements as an accessory & is a perfect way to Jazz up your ensemble without having to over do it!
  • This will be your iridescence piece to your wardrobe ...
Should you try walking around Nude?
  • Hec yea!
  • Also try different textures to the Nude pumps. That will definitely make this one of your signature pieces.
  • Why not?! Why not feel fabulous; why not feel like you
  • Here are just some reasonable prices pumps that i've stumbled across...
